General Overview of the Program

Foundation Year Department of Build Bright University has been established in 2004 in accordance with Preah Reachkret No NS/RKT/0303 dated on 31 March 2003. The program is running under the guidelines and coordination from Accreditation Committee of Cambodia (ACC). With these, students who enrolled for their field of specialization must successfully complete the foundation year course.

The program of Foundation Year is split up into two semesters -semester one and semester two. In semester one, students are required to study five different courses (three are recommended by ACC and two are subject oriented subject which are selected by the university, BBU). And in semester two, students are required to study in their chosen field of specialization. 

The program is running by the department of Foundation Year, created by BBU under the guideline of ACC to make sure that the quality of education is established.

Degrees / Certificates Offered

Build Bright University offers foundation year certificate to its students after their one-year-long studies have been successfully completed. With it they are able to find work in private companies, organizations, or governmental institutions in order that they can make some money to support their studies and some daily personal expenses.
