     Requirements for graduation

General requirements

Each degree consists of a number of general core courses plus specialized courses. Please see our curriculum for details. If you wish to take your whole undergraduate degree with us, here are some options:

  • To earn an associate degree, student must earn 72 credits courses.
  • To earn a bachelor degree, student must earn 138 credits courses.

Transferring to us from your home university: It may be possible to transfer from another university course to one at Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality by transferring credit. In order to help you do this we will firstly need to know full details about your university studies at home. You will usually need to study for the rest of credits to complete your degree with us. BBU is committed to facilitate credit transfer arrangements. Please talk to our academic staff for more information.

 



Accelerate your studies: You may be eligible for exemption from part of your chosen course on the basic of previous degree, which could enable you to shorten the length of your course if you wish to get your second degree at BBU.

 Specific requirements

  • To obtain an associate degree, student must pass all the required credit courses (72 credits) and pass the state
    examination which will be held at the end of the program
  • To obtain a bachelor degree, student must pass all the required credit courses (138 credits). In additions, student
    have to pass the state examination which will be held at the end of the program as well as writing final project
    paper and defense the paper successfully

    Suggested programme of study

Students have the opportunity to enroll in either associate or bachelor degree. Associate degree is a two-year program response to the needs of students who needs skills necessary in their careers in an intermediate length of time. Bachelor degree is a four-year program designed for people with a commitment to the management career in tourism and hospitality industry. Also, a graduate has an opportunity to continue to do a master or a higher degree.
