RECOGNITION & ACCREDITATION

National Recognition 

Build Bright University was formerly known as the Faculty of Management and Law. It was officially and fully recognized and licensed as an undergraduate provider by the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports of Cambodia under sub-Decree No. 45 ANK-PK, dated on 25th July 2000. In 2002 the name was changed to Build Bright University and it is officially and fully recognized and licensed as undergraduate and postgraduate provider by the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports under sub-Decree No. 58 ANK-PK, dated on 13 June 2002 on the criteria to establish university.

The Ministry officially recognized this change as Build Bright University with abbreviation of BBU. It is under the control of the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports of Cambodia.

 

 International Recognition

 

According to declaration for higher educational cooperation in the international conference about cooperation strategies among the universities in Greater Mekong Sub-region countries as declared on Nov 24-26, 2005 at Ubon, Thailand, Build Bright University signed MoU with a few universities in order to promote human resources development, exchange information or resources, join project, quality assurance, research and lecturer exchange. In addition, the university expands some more activities with other universities inside this region such as:

International Recognition 

The university’s Foundation Year Program was fully accredited by the ACC (Accreditation Committee of Cambodia) on August 31, 2007. The ACC is a governmental institution under the authority of the Council of Ministers. The main objective of this institution is to promote the quality of higher education in Cambodia.
